Superhailer is an acoustic communications device used at long range for the Police, Emergency Services and Military.
It now comes in two forms. Homeland for domestic Emergency Services and the higher-powered Marine/Military for use by the Coastguard, Navy, Armed Forces and Specialist Police. It is wearable or tripod-mounted and generates targeted, crystal-clear audio messages audible beyond 800ft/250m for Homeland and 1600ft/500m for Marine/Military.
In appearance it looks like a long range directional sound gun, but Superhailer is actually designed to save lives by providing a critical communications solution.

A portable acoustic hailing device operating at long range, the Superhailer® operates in two primary modes. First, it can broadcast targeted powerful verbal messages or instructions which are crystal clear even at very significant distances.
Second, if required, it can emit a very narrow beam of intense but safe sound. It cuts through ambient noise and helps grab the attention of the individuals or groups being hailed. Superhailer can be rapidly deployed to play a critical role in the de-escalation of dangerous situations.
